1. If the temperature or humidity is spiking, it may be a sign of low or weak batteries.  Replace with high quality Lithium batteries:

2. Make sure the sensor is not in direct sunlight. Does it happen the same time every day?

3. If the problem persists, the sensor needs replacing.
